Compliance status

Pilar Sáenz (hereinafter, also the Website) is partially compliant with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September, owing to the lack of conformity in the aspects indicated below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a. Non-compliance with RD 1112/2018: Not applicable. It meets 100% of the web accessibility criteria.

b. Disproportionate burden: Not applicable.

c. Content falling outside the scope of the applicable legislation:

  • There may be office files in PDF and other formats published before 20 September 2018 that do not fully meet all accessibility requirements, although efforts have been made to ensure that most of them do.
  • There may be third-party content not developed by this Unit nor under its control, such as images, interactive maps, videos, documents, players, etc.
  • There may be pre-recorded files published before 20 September 2018 that do not fully meet all accessibility requirements.
  • Parts or all of the website may be built with a CMS (WordPress, Shopify, PrestaShop, etc.), so that following an update or change to the systems, not all generated or auto-generated content may comply with every accessibility standard.

Optional content

The version of this website currently visible dates from 10/11/2025, and the accessibility level in force at that time was reviewed on that date.

From that date onwards, partial daily reviews are carried out of new or modified web content, covering both templates and the final pages and documents published, in order to ensure compliance with the accessibility requirements of standard UNE-EN 301549:2022, taking into account the exceptions in Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September.

The following measures, among others, are adopted to support accessibility:

  • Use of alternative text on images.
  • Links provide details of the function or destination of the hyperlink.
  • Use of W3C standards: XHTML 1.0, CSS 3.0, WAI AA.

  • has been designed in line with the standards and regulations in force on accessibility, meeting the priority 2 (AA) checkpoints defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
  • is optimised for the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera
  • is designed to display correctly at any resolution and on desktop, tablet or mobile devices (responsive design)
  • has been built using HTML5 as the markup language and CSS 3 style sheets for its design.

In addition, continuous auditing and review of content is carried out to make it easier to understand and to improve navigation of the web portal.
