Where form meets emotion

Pilar Sáenz’s work explores the relationship between form and emotion through different languages: sculpture, printmaking, lighting, embroidery and writing. Each piece is a fragment of an instant in her life, feelings turned into form. Her practice investigates matter as a territory of identity and memory, where matter becomes balance, meaning and growth. From the hardness of iron to the delicacy of embroidery or the written word, every piece is born of a process of search and release, in which structure and intuition converse with emotion.
